Displaying Keyboards
Feel free to join even without bringing in anything to display!
If bringing in keyboard-related items to display, please follow the guidelines below.
How to display
Please place your keyboards and related items on a tabletop in the “displaying and chatting” areas of the venue.
Things you can display
Keyboard-related things
(Keyboards themselves, parts, wristrests, etc.)
Laptops, tablets, and similar for offering typing tests and demos
Power banks/batteries for displaying LED effects and similar
Note: The wall outlets of the venue cannot be used.
Regarding Batteries
To keep the event and its participants safe, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following battery-related precautions:
- Please physically remove/uninstall batteries from keyboards wherever possible prior to bringing them in.
- If bringing power banks or similar large portable batteries, please ensure that they are in good condition without damage or swelling, and that they have safety certification markings such as PSE or similar.
Warnings and notices
Scope of placement
- To ensure that all attendees have space to display, please place your keyboards close together to minimize wasted desk space.
- Please refrain from reserving or taking over excessive amounts of display space.
- Depending on the circumstances, we may ask you to place your items closer together, condense/reduce the displayed items, or to move the displayed items entirely.
Managing displayed items
- One of our goals at Tenkey is to allow people to try out as many keyboards as possible - as such, there are no “do not touch” display areas within the venue.
We will not provide any support or liability if you do not want your displayed items to be touched or typed on - please display such items entirely at your own risk.
Luggage
- The use of dollies/push carts is prohibited due to venue regulations.
Suitcases are permitted.
In addition to the keyboard displaying guidelines, please make sure to check the event rules and guidelines prior to attendance.
